Stanley Yelnats
Stanley Yelnats pleaded guilty to stealing shoes. He was then sent to Camp Green Lake to be disciplined. There, he makes new friends and unfolds a family secret that nobody is aware of.

Hector "Zero" Zeroni
Hector Zeroni stole the shoes that Stanley was accused of stealing. "Zero" was a homeless kid. He cannot read or write and he helps Stanley through his adventure.

The Warden, Ms. Walker
The Warden runs Camp Green Lake. She's a nasty women who only cares about herself. She tells the kids to call for her if they find anything interesting while digging their holes.

Mr. Sir
Mr. Sir is the guy who looks after all of the kids in the camp. He's a very grumpy person. And for some reason, he's afraid of the warden.

Mr. Pendanski a.k.a. MOM
Mr. Pendanski is the counselour for Tent-D. All the kids call him "mom" because of the way he talks. He is somewhat weird and is not liked by everyone.
